SMUS Eats Club meetings are far from anything normal, especially at our last senior meeting.

Students were invited to participate in a salsa making activity last Thursday. They paired up with another member of their cohort and designed their own salsa recipe. With ingredients like tomato, lime, onion, garlic, cilantro, and a variety of spices these foodies all created unique salsas. We had the music going, there was of lots of laughter. Students got to learn and/or practice a skill.
Check out more photos, and see what students thought about this activity below!
I LOVED IT!!! I really liked how when I got there everything was already prepared and well organized. I liked the environment too and yes I did learn something new because I've never made salsa before!

I’ve never made salsa before and realized the ingredients have very strong taste in them. I’ve never really tried salsa before, but making it was fun. It would be cool if we can make food from all over the world.
